This take on the Family portrait was taken in Queenstown where land development has reduced the natural landscape. The trees were found within 20 square metres and would all be descendants of each other.

The natural landscape if what brings many people to Queenstown, this constant push for development to accommodate is clearing the very land that people are wanting to visit. Trees have connections with each other both above and below the soil, everything is interconnected, we too have a connection and the importance of trees for our health and happiness. It is important to keep and rejuvenate what wilderness we have left.
